Nearly 3,000 exhibitors from more than 120 countries and regions signed up to 70.72 billion U.S. dollars at the 4th China International Import Expo that came to a close in Shanghai on Thursday.

At this year's International Import Expo, Jiangsu showed an ever-increasing pace of opening up, as is evidenced by its more professional procurement work.

Technology and equipment such as smart high-end and energy saving and environmental protection accounted for more than 40% of Jiangsu's transaction, demonstrating the huge market potential of Jiangsu being a large manufacturing province.

14 hospitals purchased US$125 million in high-end equipment to improve the level of diagnosis and treatment, and high-quality meat and dairy products accounted for 60% of Jiangsu's food and agricultural turnover.

The Bank of China provided matchmaking services for nearly a hundred enterprises in Jiangsu.

High-quality procurement promotes new supplies in the consumer sector, and also empowers Jiangsu enterprises to accelerate their transformation and upgrading and integrate into the global industrial chain supply chain.
