East China’s Jiangsu province has made unremitting efforts since the start of this year to promote party building and party history education so as to have gathered a strong synergy and create a new situation in party building.
The Party Committee of Nanjing Xinjiekou Business Zone recently organized a special party history learning and education sharing session. The audience was all party building leaders of various non-public enterprises in the business zone.
Representatives of the enterprises exchanged their experiences since the launch of party history learning and education, and discussed their work goals based on the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
Since its establishment, the Party Committee of the Business Zone has actively organized various activities such as delivering party history learning and education to the households, party history education competitions, and party history presentations, bringing together the largest concentric circle in the business zone.
Qi Qiusheng, secretary of the Party Committee of Xinjiekou Business Zone, said that the party organization will lead the way, play the role of bridge and bond of party building, pool resources from all walks of life and lead the high-quality development of the entire business circle with high-quality party building.
Since the launch of the party history learning and education campaign, the publicity tour teams of the Provincial Party Committee and the grassroots party committees have carried out more than 295,000 lectures for 29.95 million people.
Leaders of the provincial party committee and provincial government have set an example by taking the lead in handling at least 1 practical project.
With various regions innovating types of activities, the province has implemented a total of 55,000 practical projects that benefited a wide range of people and were welcomed by the people.
Authorities in Jiangyin have explored the model of "strong enterprises assisting weak villages" on the road to common prosperity in a bid to encourage the formation of village-enterprise party building alliances, fully taps the advantages of enterprises, and helps paired villages to clarify development ideas, identify development paths, and enhance development capabilities.
The village party committees in Tianning District of Changzhou have set up small courtyard meeting rooms. Party members and villagers sit around the courtyard to gather public opinion, pool people's wisdom, and solve problems.

Over the past year, party organizations in various parts of the province have focused on their leading role in party building in light of actual conditions.
Various parts of the province have taken the opportunity of party history learning and education campaign to address issues concerning people’s livelihood. In the meantime, grassroots organizations have been strengthened and the vitality of grassroots organizations has been revitalized, as is evidenced by the completion of general election at 21,000 villages or communities, 721 townships and 95 county-level regions.
Since the beginning of this year, Jiangsu has further promoted the formation of a new social governance mechanism of “big data + grid + iron sole” under the leadership of party building by building 120,000 grids of various types and employing 300,000 grid workers.
In the meantime, Jiangsu has strengthened the overall planning of talent work, strengthened the party's responsibility for talent management, formulated the "14th Five-Year" talent development plan, held 221 talent project investment and financing matchmaking road shows, promoted 10.86 billion yuan in financing, and helped talent companies alleviate financing difficulties.
The statistics and the results have fully demonstrated the province’s significant advantages in party building, and have provided a strong guarantee for the new chapter of the modernization drive in Jiangsu.
