East China’s Jiangsu province ranked fifth in the country's online retail sales in the first three quarters, according to the 2021 China Jiangsu E-Commerce Conference held recently in Nanjing.
The Provincial Department of Commerce and Alibaba Group released at the conference the province’s first industrial e-commerce development report.
8 national-level digital business enterprises and 12 e-commerce parks in Jiangsu were awarded as national-level e-commerce demonstration bases.
In the first three quarters of this year, Jiangsu's online retail sales ranked fifth in the country, and rural online retail sales ranked second in the country.
At the same time, Jiangsu is also innovating its e-commerce models. Leading companies such as Huitongda, Xugong E-commerce, and Kidswant are engaged in subdivision areas. Well-known e-commerce industry clusters such as Changshu Clothing and Nantong Home Textiles are booming, and e-commerce has promoted the upgrading of the industry.
