East China’s Jiangsu province started rolling out second COVID-19 jab over the weekend for children aged between 3 and 11.
The vaccination site at Xiaoying Primary School in Nanjing is responsible for the second COVID-19 jab in 6 primary schools of Xuanwu District. A very clear schematic diagram of the vaccination process is shown on the big screen, coupled with promotional slogans.
With the experience in the first jab, the process for the second jab is expected to be more orderly.
Wu Bei, Vice Principal of Nanjing Xiaoying Primary School
In the vaccination area, each room is specially equipped with tables and chairs for children to organize their clothes.
Parent
Parents worry about whether their children are suitable for vaccination if they have cough or asthma. The vaccination site has specially installed a consultation area where the doctor will answer questions concerning whether the child is suitable for vaccination and the precautions after the injection.
