East China’s Jiangsu province is stepping up its efforts to reach out to the grassroots people in its campaign for a future where prosperity is shared by everyone while embarking on the journey of comprehensively building a modern socialist country.
By taking the recent spell of fine days, Xia Xing, a resident of Changzhou, went on a visit to the local museum with his friends by taking the bus and subway. All they need to do on the way is swipe their social security card to gain accessibility.
"In the past we had to bring a variety of cards such as bus cards, ID cards, etc.But now we only need to put a social security card in our wallet to experience the convenience of medical treatment, medicine purchase and transportation," said Xia.
As one of the comprehensive demonstration cities for the innovative application of the social security "all-in-one card", Changzhou has incorporated it in the livelihood project by taking the lead in the province to realize the all-in-one card for transportation, cultural experience, tourism and other functions.
"In the next step, we will use the social security card as the carrier to expand more and more extensive applications from government services, smart cities, and financial applications through the sharing of big data with other parts," said Qin Wei, director of the Security Center of Changzhou Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security.
Jianhu County launched a livestreaming training session of Jiangsu-made product for new farmers. Experts from the Provincial Internet Association have made careful preparations, including policy publicity, explanations of empowerment systems and marketing models, as well as rich practical training and livestreaming interaction
"I used to sell agricultural products in my home store and now I can sell them online, which will bring good news to farmers’ income and wealth in the future," said Ji Wanqiang, a farm owner.
"After two days of training, many students have gained a clear concept and direction," said Lin Qiaoyang, a training lecturer of Jiangsu Zidong Live Building Business School.
