East China’s Jiangsu province has adopted a number of innovative measures to optimize the supply mode of industrial land, improve the province's industrial land conservation and intensive use level and output efficiency, and promote high-quality development, according to the Opinions on Further Promoting the Improvement of Industrial Land Quality and Efficiency issued recently by the General Office of the Provincial Government.
According to the "Opinions", Jiangsu will increase the plot ratio of newly-started industrial projects with the percentage points no less than 1.5, 1.2, 1.0 in Southern Jiangsu, Central Jiangsu, Northern Jiangsu, depending on regional differences.
The floor area ratio of high-standard factory buildings is generally not less than 2.0, and localities can gradually increase the floor area ratio of industrial land in provincial development zones based on specific conditions so as to improve land use efficiency.
According to the "Opinions", Jiangsu will increase the supply of land for mixed industries and encourage the mixed layout of mutually beneficial functions in the same plot for industrial, storage, R&D, office, and business services.
Jiangsu will also give preferential land transfer prices to advanced manufacturing clusters and strategic emerging industries.
