East China’s Jiangsu province has fulfilled its tasks for livelihood improvement by resolutely implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions, and ensure that party members and cadres promote the study and education of party history by solving various problems and difficulties.
In the promotion of the study and education of party history, the top leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Government, the Provincial People's Congress and the Provincial People’s Political Consultative Conference are tasked with the supervision of handling at least one livelihood issue. As a result, 77 key livelihood projects were completed in the past year.
Leaders at the department level and above in the province are responsible for supervising the handling of more than 30,000 livelihood projects.
Party members and cadres often visit grassroots communities and regularly participate in voluntary services, demonstrating the good state of mind of the communists in the new era.
The province has also made renovations for the home of 30000 needy elders and ease the burden of excessive homework and off-campus tutoring for students by providing after-school services for 7.758 million students.Since the celebration of centenary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party, Party members and cadres in Jiangsu have studied and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's July 1st speech by serving the people, relieving the worries of enterprises, and promoting high-quality development in sub-districts, villages, enterprises and public institutions.
In order to offset the impact of the epidemic, Jiangsu issued 30 preferential policies, reducing the burden on enterprises by nearly 20 billion yuan, and improving the anti-risk capabilities of small, medium and micro enterprises in the province.
Since the start of last year, Jiangsu renovated 1,407 decade-old urban communities, and provided 1.532 billion yuan of job stabilization allowances to more than 5 million workers.
Since the start of the study and education of party history, Jiangsu has launched 55 thousand livelihood projects, unveiled 10298 regulations and solved 4.32 million livelihood issues for the grassroots people.
