Police in east China’s Jiangsu province celebrated Chinese People's Police Day on Monday with ceremonies that saw the hoisting of the national police flag in various parts of the province.
The police officers saluted the flag and took oaths on behalf of all policemen.
"As a new police officer,I feel very honored to welcome the first Police Day in my career.The Police Festival reminds me that I must not forget my original aspiration,forge ahead,and perform my duties with due diligence,so as to live up to the police uniform."said Jiang Meng, Police Officer in Suqian
A variety of police barrack open days were held across the province. Police officers in new-style dresses lined up in Ganyu District, Lianyungang city, to practice the vow of courage and escort the new journey with a new attitude.
In Yancheng, the drug simulation models at the anti-drug exhibition attracted many parents to bring their children to learn how to identify drugs.
In Wuxi, the sketch "Catch All", which was adapted and created on the government’s crackdown on telemarketing scams, attracted widespread attention.

In 2021, 99.2% of the Jiangsu people expressed a sense of security, setting a record high.
All homicide cases in the province were solved. 4.95 billion websites suspected of fraud were destroyed, 770 million scam phone calls were intercepted, and the amount of money prevented from transferring to criminals increased by three times year-on-year.
