No. 2 [2022] Important Reminder of Epidemic Prevention and Control in Suzhou
The epidemic situation at home and abroad remains grim and complex. The forthcoming Spring Festival will lead to a surge in trips and gatherings. To coordinate the epidemic prevention and control and improve services during the Spring Festival travel rush, and effectively curb the spread of the virus, this reminder hereby specifies the following rules:
1. Strengthen the management of travelers coming to Suzhou from other provinces. All travelers coming or returning to Suzhou from other provinces should provide green health codes and negative nucleic acid testing results issued over the past 48 hours. Those who cannot provide the negative results should report to their residing communities (villages), employers or accommodating hotels at once, and take the test at nearest sampling sites within 24 hours after arrival. They should avoid entering public venues and participating in gatherings, and wear masks properly before the results come out. Prevention and control policies for those coming to Suzhou from epidemic-related areas remain unchanged.
2. Tighten up the screening of key groups of people. Local residential compounds (villages), government organizations, enterprises, public institutions, construction sites, hotels, etc. should strictly screen those coming to Suzhou from other provinces and epidemic-related areas and those in high-exposure risk jobs (staff members at cold chain plants, harbors and centralized isolation facilities), carry out information registration, and urge them to cooperate in such measures as information report, nucleic acid testing, health management, etc.
3. Carry out centralized risk monitoring. With the principle of early detection, reporting, quarantine and treatment, spot-checks for nucleic acid will be conducted at ports of entry, centralized isolation facilities, designated hospitals, fever clinics and their neighboring areas, and taxi drivers and workers in the express industry will take one nucleic acid test ahead of the Spring Festival.
4. Provide convenient testing service. Convenience sampling sites will be set up at railway stations and other stations, relying on other sampling sites across the city to offer convenient services to travelers coming to Suzhou.
We call on all residents to actively cooperate in epidemic prevention and control, and build a barrier to guard against the virus. Those who refuse to cooperate, withhold information or give false information will be held liable in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. All the aforementioned measures should be put into action upon the day this reminder goes public and will be dynamically adjusted according to changes in the epidemic situation.
