More migratory birds have flown to Jiangsu province to overspend the winter due the improved ecological environment in various parts of the province.

Wu Weiping is a bird photographer in Haimen County. Growing up by the Yangtze River, he recently discovered that there are more wild ducks on the river.

These wild ducks usually come to Haimen in mid-January and fly back to the north around March.

Haimen, with a coastline of 61.7 kilometers of the Yangtze River, has carried out in-depth protection of the Yangtze River in recent years. The green spaces and parks built along the shoreline of the Yangtze River have become hot destinations for the local people to get relaxed.

More than 100 whooper swans flew from 5,000 kilometers away in Northeast Asia to Changtang Reservoir in Hengxi Village of Maba Town in Xuyi County, Huai'an City.

The dynamic figure, sunlight and reeds constitute an ecological picture scroll with far-reaching artistic conception.

The villagers said the remaining gorgon fruit and aquatic plants provide sufficient bait, attracting more and more migratory birds. This year is the fourth consecutive year that the whooper swans have flown here to overspend the winter.
