The total output value of the mining industry and the manufacturing industry increased by 6.1% and 28.1%. The total output value of power, heat, gas, and water production and supply industries increased by 23.5%. Among the 34 industrial categories in Huai'an, the output value of 32 increased year on year, accounting for 94.1% of the total industrial categories. The total output value of the three leading industries of green food, new equipment manufacturing, and new-generation information technology increased by 16.9%, 28.4%, and 33.6% respectively, contributing 54.3% to the growth of the total industrial output value. The total profit of the industrial enterprises above the designated size reached 18.039 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 24.5% and an average increase of 11.7% of the past two years. The profit margin of operating income of industrial enterprises above the designated size was 5.87%, an increase of 0.19 percentage points year-on-year.
