A plan for the construction of water town living room was released Wednesday for the demonstration zone of the Yangtze River Delta integrated development.
6 projects in the fields of artificial intelligence, technological innovation, and public services were signed, with a total investment of nearly 10 billion yuan. Focusing on the construction of the water town living room, Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang will promote such functions as international summits and intellectual creation research and development in Qingpu District of Shanghai, develop such functions as exhibition sources in Jiashan County, Zhejiang Province, and create scientific research and development, technology incubation, exchange and training functions in Wujiang District, Suzhou city of Jiangsu.
The goal is to build the living room of the water town into an important geographical indication of the Yangtze River Delta integrated development, a model of the rural complex for the integration of urban and rural development in the water ecological management of the water town in the south of the Yangtze River, and a model area for urban renewal spearheaded by innovation and high-quality development.
