Latest figures from the National Bureau of Statistics show that more than 346 million Chinese have taken up winter sports.
As one of the activities of the 8th Beijing Municipal Park Ice and Snow Garden Fair, the Summer Palace Snow Resort has a series of snow entertainment projects including the city's largest number of snow circle slides, ice and snow mazes, and snow balls where visitors can personally experience the charm of ice and snow sports.
Jiangsu has built 45 various ice and snow sports venues with a total area of 553.2 thousand square meters. More than 150 schools offer courses related to roller skating, ice skating, ice hockey and more. Jiangsu Sports Bureau will also organize 20 ice and snow events, 100 Winter Olympics knowledge tour exhibitions and hundreds of ice and snow sports experience activities across the province.
