Suzhou has reported 102 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases and 25 asymptomatic cases as of Tuesday afternoon, the city’s health commission said at a press conference.

Suzhou continued to carry out the latest round of regional nucleic acid testing on Tuesday by sampling more than 6 million people. The regional nucleic acid testing will be carried out in four county-level cities on Wednesday.
As of 3 pm on Tuesday, Suzhou has tracked and sampled 8,561 close contacts, 14,339 sub-close contacts, and 104,665 people of other risks.
The city has marked off 149 containment, control and prevention zones with an addition of five on Wednesday. There are currently 55 medium-risk areas in Suzhou.
The confirmed COVID-19 cases will continue to be isolated for 14 days for medical observation and health management after being discharged.
The People's Hospital of Suzhou Taihu National Tourism Resort will serve as the designated hospital for the recovery of the COVID-19 patients.
A team of experts in traditional Chinese medicine, rehabilitation, psychology, and pediatrics will be established to provide personalized diagnosis and treatment plans for cured patients.
Suzhou has arranged 520 thousand sanitation workers to collect, transport and dispose of 124.5 thousand tons of domestic waste, including 800 tons of domestic waste in sealed and controlled areas.
