Nanjing and China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd. will build energy innovation industry clusters with around 30 billion yuan of investment, according to a ceremony held Thursday to mark the ground-breaking of "China Energy Valley" launch zone project in Nanjing on Thursday.
The "China Energy Valley" project is located in the Qilin Science and Technology Innovation Park, with a total investment of about 30 billion yuan. It is a landmark project jointly developed by the Nanjing Municipal People's Government and China Huaneng Group through resource sharing, infrastructure co-construction, and capital integration. Committed to building a high-quality ecosystem of the energy industry that integrates seven functional platforms, the project will produce an energy innovation industry cluster of over 100 billion yuan, and create an internationally influential energy science and technology source, an energy production and research innovation park, an energy application demonstration area, and a low-carbon smart future city.
