China’s logistics prosperity index stood at 51.2% in February on an annual basis, the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing said on Wednesday.
In February, China's logistics prosperity index came at 51.2%, up 0.1 percentage points from the previous month. China's warehousing index came at 51.3%, up 3 percentage points from the previous month.
In terms of sub-indices, the total business index, new order index, capital turnover index, and equipment utilization index are all in the expansion range.
The drop in the number of employees in the logistics industry is significantly lower than that of the same period in previous years.
The resumption of work and production in all walks of life has sparked the demand for the logistics industry, leading to a rebound in the prosperity index of the logistics industry, especially for small and micro logistics companies.
Judging from the later trend, the business activity expectation index of the logistics industry in February came at 59.7%, an increase of 2.2 percentage points from the previous month, indicating continuing improvement of logistics companies' expectations for future business activities.
