No.57 [2022] Notice on Epidemic Prevention and Control of Suzhou
According to relevant requirements of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council, Suzhou Joint Prevention and Control Headquarters has decided to adjust the risk levels of the following areas, which shall go into force upon the date of issuance:
Zhangjiagang: Minfengyuan Residential Compound (West Zone), Yangshe Town;
Gusu District: Yonglin Erqu Residential Compound, Pingjiang Subdistrict.
After the adjustment, the COVID-19 risk level of the entire city of Suzhou has been downgraded to low-risk.
Low-risk does not mean risk-free, nor does "lockdown lifting" suggest "taking no precaution". Multiple domestic cities have reported COVID-19 cases recently. In the face of the grave and complex epidemic situation, we must strictly prevent imported infections and domestic resurgences, continue regular COVID-19 control measures, and uphold the principle of early detection, reporting, quarantine and treatment. Local authorities, departments, employers and individuals must fulfill their epidemic prevention and control duties. We call on all residents to bear in mind "three precautions against the epidemic" and "six to-dos still needed", raise awareness of personal prevention, follow personal protection measures, observe relevant regulations, cooperate in epidemic control management, and shoulder the primary responsibility for their health.
