The Provincial Development and Reform Commission recently announced the price regulation targets for 2022 in a bid to continue to strengthen and improve price regulation.
In 2022, Jiangsu will go all out to ensure an annual increase of about 3% in the overall level of consumer prices.
In order to ensure the realization of the price control target, Jiangsu will implement strict rice and vegetable polices to stabilize production and supply.
This year,Jiangsu will stabilize the vegetable sown area of more than 21 million mu, maintain about 1.2 million sows, 81.2 million mu of grain sown area, and a total grain output of 74 billion kilograms so as to fulfill the grain production goals and tasks set by the central government.
Jiangsu will implement the national minimum grain purchase price policy, launch the implementation plan for the minimum purchase price in a timely manner, and build a batch of refrigerated and fresh-keeping facilities for fresh vegetables and fruits, so as to stabilize the price and supply of pork.
In the meantime, Jiangsu will also make every effort to ensure the transportation of important provisions related to the national economy and people's livelihood, such as electricity and coal, develop rural e-commerce, promote the sales of agricultural products, and implement the "Internet +" agricultural product sales project.
Jiangsu will also increase financial support and guarantees, strengthen price monitoring and guidance, and implement the living guarantee mechanism for people in need and key groups to ensure that the consumer price fluctuates within a reasonable range.
