East China’s Jiangsu province has gone all out to resolve consumer disputes in recent years, Jiangsu Consumer Rights Protection Committee said on Tuesday.
Centering on "Promoting Consumption Fairness", the theme of the Consumer Rights Protection Year, the Provincial Consumer Rights Protection Committee and the Provincial Market Supervision Bureau jointly held the March 15 International Consumer Rights Day theme event.

In 2021, Jiangsu will investigate and deal with more than 86 thousand cases of consumer rights violations, with fines and confiscations exceeding 1.4 billion yuan.

The staff of the market supervision departments in Zhenjiang and Yancheng visited communities and enterprises to improve consumers' safety awareness and prevention ability.
