From January to February, the above-scale added value of Huai'an city grew by 15.3% year-on-year, with a growth rate of 0.7 percentage points higher than that of 2021 and 5.8 percentage points higher than the two-year average of 2020-2021. In light of key industries, the added value of computer, communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing, and chemical products manufacturing grew by 19.1% and 12.6%, respectively, greatly contributing to the city's total industrial strength. The two together have driven a 2.1 percentage points growth of Huai'an output value. As for key enterprises, Huaiyin Cigarette Factory and King's Luck jointly pulled up 10.0 percentage points of the added value of Huai'an industries above designated size.
From January to February, the city completed a total of 2.150 billion kilowatt hours of industrial electricity consumption, an increase of 10.1% year-on-year, with a growth rate of 10.6 percentage points lower than that of 2021, and 0.1 percentage points higher than the two-year average of 2020-2021. In details, the consumption in February was 958 million kilowatt hours, an increase of 33.6%, and 37.1 percentage points more over January.
