East China’s Jiangsu province will step up its efforts to provide high quality services for the elderly and children, according to a meeting held by the provincial government on Monday. Fei Gaoyun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor, and Vice Governors Chen Xingying and Hu Guangjie attended the meeting and delivered speeches.
We must enhance our political stance, fully understand the importance and urgency of work, focus on the outstanding issues expected by the people, and follow the requirements of high-quality development, according to a statement released after the meeting.
Efforts must be made to improve service supply capacity, optimize the structure of service supply, strengthen key tasks such as the support of service elements, continuously expand the total volume, ensure the bottom line of supply, enhance inclusive services, promoting the integration of medical care and urban and rural areas, optimize the investment mechanism, and strengthen talent training and opening up policy bottlenecks, the statement said.
Jiangsu will speed up the construction of a number of community-embedded nursing service institutions for the elderly, develop specialized hospitals for the elderly and children, expand the supply of high-quality medical and health services, and promote the overall urban and rural layout of nursing and nursing service facilities for the elderly, said the statement.
Continuous efforts should be made to promote the people’s sense of gain, happiness and satisfaction, the statement said.
