Xu Kunlin demanded further efforts to insist on making progress while maintaining stability, take advantage of the stable and improving situation of epidemic prevention and control, efficiently coordinate epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development, better coordinate development and security, and focus on supporting market players to ensure employment, people's livelihood, and economic resilience and resolutely complete the annual goals and tasks.
He asked governments at all levels in the province to go all out to promote the implementation of a package of policies and measures issued by the central and provincial government, and plan incremental policy plans ahead of time to ensure that policies benefit all market players, promote economic growth through investment and consumption, actively expand effective investment, and give full play to the leading role of consumption in the economic cycle.
He emphasized that multiple measures must be taken to stabilize employment and people's livelihood, actively promote the equalization of basic public services, strengthen unemployment insurance, subsistence allowances and assistance to people in need, strive to solve problems for the needy groups, effectively strengthen production safety, and ensure security of the supply of grain and important agricultural products, maintain the stability of the supply of energy and electricity, comprehensively prevent and resolve hidden risks in key areas, and resolutely adhere to the bottom line of safety-oriented development.
