The Jiangsu Provincial Public Security Department has released a package of measures to help market entities tide over the difficulties caused by the epidemic and rev up the pace of economic development, according to a press conference held on Wednesday.
The "Ten Measures" involve police handling, rights protection, government services, traffic security, shipping safety, law enforcement supervision, conflict resolution, and complaint reporting.
In response to the stagnation of logistics and transportation and the obstruction of workers' travel for work, the Jiangsu police launched a fast-handling mechanism to fully ensure the smooth transportation of materials for the resumption of work and production.
For listed companies, leading enterprises, and high-tech enterprises that violate laws and crimes, if the circumstances are minor and the harm is not serious, administrative penalties will generally not be imposed after rectification.
For business operators, managers, and key technical personnel who are suspected of committing crimes but whose circumstances are minor and who actively plead guilty and repent, the police may not take custodial coercive measures against them in accordance with the law.
For the equipment, funds and technical materials that the enterprises involved in the case have put into production and operation and are being used for scientific and technological innovation and product research and development, the police shall take prudent measures when sealing up, detaining, and freezing them in accordance with the law.
