Suzhou kicked off on Sunday the 2022 session of the Suzhou International Elite Entrepreneurship Week and the 3rd Suzhou Scientist Day.
Cao Lubao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee, attended the opening ceremony and said in his speech that Suzhou will adhere to the development of gathering talents and leading development with talents, aiming at the goal of "building a high-level talent platform and building a modern and strong city for talent development to attract talents from all over the world with greater courage and more practical measures. 2,796 talents introduced 2,819 projects at this year's Entrepreneurship Week. At the opening ceremony, Suzhou introduced relevant policies to accelerate the construction of a high-level talent platform. Suzhou will provide project funding of up to 50 million yuan and 10 million yuan to major innovation teams and leading talents in innovation and entrepreneurship. Since its inception in 2009, the annual session of the Suzhou International Elite Entrepreneurship Week has attracted more than 30,000 high-level talents from home and abroad, settled 9,069 projects, and introduced and trained 154 national-level talents.
