East China’s Jiangsu province has witnessed the signing of multi-billion-yuan investment projects in the manufacturing sector in the province’s latest move to stabilize economic growth and empower industrial chains.
Xuzhou signed new energy projects centering on the manufacturing of photovoltaic equipment, new energy vehicles, solid oxide fuel cells.
With high technology content, large investment volume, strong industry driving force, broad market space and good development prospects, these projects will inject strong impetus into Xuzhou's efforts to build a strong industrial city and a regional center.
Wuxi signed 30 projects with a total investment of 15.7 billion yuan to kick start the construction of an aerospace industrial park.
These projects will invest in parts manufacturing, technology research and development, logistics supply, financial support and other fields to accelerate the construction of a new aerospace industry system with solid foundation, perfect chain and complete structure for Wuxi High-tech Zone.
Xiangshui County started construction of a 160,000-square-meter new workshop and ancillary facilities for the Mingyang Smart Wind Power Equipment Project.
With a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan, the project will also build a large-scale offshore wind turbine intelligent manufacturing and assembly center, a large-megawatt offshore wind turbine blade manufacturing and testing center, and a digital intelligent electrical control manufacturing center.
Upon its operation, the project will effectively promote the accelerated development of the new energy industry in Xiangshui, which is part of the Yellow Sea New Area.
