In the first half of this year, the province's ports completed a cargo throughput of 1.55 billion tons and a container throughput of 11.229 million TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 6.6%. The province also completed 559 thousand TEUs of inland water containers, a year-on-year increase of 59.9%, realizing the steady progress of port and shipping transportation and the steady improvement of production and operation.
