China Media Group's (CMG) 2022 Mid-Autumn Festival Gala will be held in Zhangjiagang, Suzhou and broadcast globally on CCTV-1, CCTV-3, CCTV-4, CCTV.com and other platforms at 8 p.m., September 10.
Presented on a 360-degree stage, the gala will feature elements of water towns and classical gardens that are unique to Suzhou and other traditional images, such as the bright moon shining over the sea.
Suzhou, home to over 10 million people, saw its GDP top 2 trillion yuan and total output of major industrial companies surpass 4 trillion yuan last year. It's also one of the places where Wu Culture originated. Zhangjiagang, a county-level city under the administration of Suzhou, is the last bay before the Yangtze River enters the sea.
