Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, officials from Jiangsu have been sent to aid Xizang by carrying out aid work in various fields such as industry and people's livelihood, and helped the high-quality development of the snow-covered plateau.
The Langrejiu Village project in Lhasa, Xizang is a major industrial project launched under the pairing-up support by Jiangsu. The 1-billion-yuan project will provide employment and income for more than 1,000 surrounding farmers and herdsmen.
In the National Modern Agriculture Demonstration Zone of Caina Township, Qushui County, the rose processing factory and the wine processing factory are producing at full capacity.
Jiangsu invested more than 90 million yuan to build this pure land health industrial park integrating industry, university and research, which has provided employment for about 1,200 villagers in 7 surrounding villages.
"We encourage and support fortune-making leaders to plant new varieties and crops, and we provide free seedlings and technologies to help local farmers get rich and increase their income." Zhang Shujian, Jiangsu Official Sent to Aid Xizang said.
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Jiangsu has continued to promote the brand effect of its industrial aid to Xizang, aided in the construction of 8 functional parks, cultivated Xizang yuwell, Xizang Construction Technology, and Tibetan Highland Barley.
Jiangsu has made great efforts to upgrade parks, attract projects, and cultivate enterprises to promote the implementation of a number of major projects and realize the development of industrial clusters.
Jiangsu has also invested more than 80% of the funds in people's livelihood and the grass-roots front line every year while continuing to promote infrastructure, medical and health care, employment and entrepreneurship, and pension security.
This year, Jiangsu has allocated 512 million yuan to support Xizang, and implemented 66 aid projects in Xizang, which will further stimulate the endogenous power of local development and continue to store energy for high-quality development.
"Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Jiangsu has resolutely dispatched 4 batches of officials with a total of nearly 500 people to aid Xizang in accordance with the decisions and deployment of the central government and invested nearly 2 billion to help Lhasa achieve poverty alleviation and rural revitalization." Chen Jing, Secretary of the Party Committee and Commander-in-Chief of the Jiangsu Aid-Xizang Front Headquarters, Deputy Secretary of the Lhasa Municipal Party Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor said.
