East China’s Jiangsu province has issued the "14th Five-Year Plan for the Construction of a Modern Circulation System" in a bid to speed up the construction of a modern circulation system with complete systems, innovation-led, collaborative and efficient.
By 2035, Jiangsu will build a modern circulation system, integrating commerce, logistics, transportation, finance, credit, and standards, leading the world in terms of circulation efficiency and quality, and significantly enhancing new advantages in participating in international cooperation and competition, creating a modern chapter for the new Jiangsu Provide solid protection.
In order to achieve the aforementioned goals, the "Plan" has sorted out seven main tasks, including deepening the market-oriented reform of the circulation field, improving the modern commercial and trade circulation system, building a modern logistics network system, and improving a comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network.
According to the plan, Jiangsu will implement a large-scale commercial and trade circulation enterprise cultivation plan. By 2025, the province will have cultivated 10 large-scale modern commerce and trade enterprises with large scale influence, strong comprehensive strength, outstanding demonstration and leading role, with Chinese competitiveness and international influence.
Jiangsu will also speed up the digital development of transportation infrastructure and build a number of facilities such as smart railways, smart highways, smart waterways, smart airports and smart integrated passenger transport hubs.
The "Plan" also encourages various financial institutions to increase their support for major projects and key enterprises in the circulation field, and guides insurance institutions to improve the supply of insurance services such as cargo transportation in the circulation field.
