Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, sent a congratulatory letter to the 2022 Specialized, Distinctive, Sophiscated and Novel Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Development Conference that opened Thursday in Nanjing.
In his congratulatory letter, Xi Jinping pointed out that specialized, distinctive, sophiscated and novel SMEs are an important force in promoting innovation, promoting employment and improving people's livelihood.
He hoped that specialized, distinctive, sophiscated and novel SMEs will play a more important role in improving the stability of the industrial chain and supply chain and promoting economic and social development.
Xi Jinping demanded that party committees and governments at all levels should resolutely implement the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee, create a favorable environment for the development of the specialized, distinctive, sophiscated and novel SMEs, increase support for specialized, distinctive, sophiscated and novel SMEs, strengthen confidence in enterprise development, focus on promoting enterprise innovation, strengthen property rights protection and stimulate the emergence of more specialized, distinctive, sophiscated and novel SMEs.
Liu He, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, attended the opening ceremony via video link and read a congratulatory letter from General Secretary Xi Jinping.
Jin Zhuanglong, Minister of Industry and Information Technology, delivered a video speech. Wu Zhenglong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, delivered a speech at the conference.
