Colleges and universities across Jiangsu have carried out a variety of cultural activities to increase the students’ awareness and knowledge of the traditional culture through interactive experience and situational teaching.
In Suqian College, college students brought farming culture to the campus. Rattan weaving, dustpan painting, stone-grinding soybean milk, and vegetable root painting were brought to the scene one by one so that the traditional farming culture was inherited here.

These cultures not only allow our college students to deeply feel the art of traditional culture, but also allow our own college students to experience the fun brought by culture in deep activities.
Local intangible cultural heritage skills were also brought to the scene. In the country fashion show, teachers and students integrated traditional paper-cutting and clothing creativity, bringing everyone a different visual enjoyment.
The introduction of farming culture to the campus not only enriches the leisure life of college students, but also strengthens their confidence in inheriting the national culture.
Ding Hongyan, Vice President of Suqian College
This activity is held in the form of a combination of "local" and "art", allowing students to learn agriculture, love agriculture, know agriculture, experience the power of farming culture, inherit the virtues of labor, and feel the joy of labor.
In Zhenjiang, the "Dongfanghong·Huaxia Opera Exhibition" attracted international students from Jiangsu University by displaying more than 50 opera-related exhibits. Everyone put on costumes and experienced the cultural essence of traditional Chinese opera costumes up close. The costume show will last until October 7th.
