The third lecture of "Tiangong Class," a series of educational sessions held by taikonauts at China's space station, will be held at 3:45 p.m. BJT (0745 GMT) on Wednesday, the China Manned Space Agency announced on Tuesday.
The lecture will be delivered by Shenzhou-14 astronauts – Chen Dong, Liu Yang and Cai Xuzhe, who will introduce the experiment cabinets installed at the Wentian lab module, demonstrate several water-related phenomena in micro-gravity environment and show how plants grow in space. They will also interact with students on Earth and take their questions.
The last two lectures were given by the Shenzhou-13 crew in last December and this March. It is a part of China's efforts to take full advantage of the space station to inspire young minds to pursue science.
