The added value of China's industrial Internet industry will reach 4.45 trillion-yuan, accounting for 3.64% of the country's GDP, according to the White Paper on the Economic Development of China's Industrial Internet Industry released Sunday by China Industrial Internet Research Institute.
At present, China's industrial Internet has accelerated its penetration into the real economy, covering 45 major categories of the national economy. The added value of industrial Internet reached 2.93 trillion yuan in 2021, and is expected to reach 3.16 trillion yuan in 2022.
The integration of industrial Internet drives the economic added value of the secondary industry in the largest scale and the fastest growth rate, and its impact on the tertiary industry is growing.
It is estimated that in 2022, the added value scale of industrial Internet driving the primary, secondary and tertiary industries will reach 0.062 trillion yuan, 2.19 trillion yuan and 2.20 trillion yuan respectively.
The industrial Internet is promoting the upgrading of China's employment structure and stabilizing employment growth. It is estimated that 1050200 new jobs will be created in 2022.
