The 2022 World Internet Conference or WIC Wuzhen Summit was kicked off in East China's Zhejiang on Wednesday. Themed "Towards a Shared Digital Future in a Connected World -- Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace," this year's summit was attended by more than 2,100 guests from over 120 countries and regions, both in person and online.
Consisting of one plenary session and 20 sub forums, the Wuzhen Summit of the World Internet Conference focused on cooperation and development, technology and industry, people and society, governance and security, reflecting the forward-looking thinking of all sectors of the industry on the prospects of Internet development, leading the trend of digital technology innovation, and demonstrating China's plans, wisdom and responsibility for promoting Internet development and governance.
As one of the important activities of the conference, the "Light of the Internet" Expo was kicked off on Tuesday. More than 400 Chinese and foreign enterprises exhibited their cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements in the venue and online platform, and new technologies and products of artificial intelligence, meta universe, big data, and network security were intensively unveiled.
During the conference, a series of activities will also be held, such as the release of world Internet leading scientific and technological achievements, the release of the blue book of the World Internet Conference, and the final of the "Direct Access to Wuzhen" global Internet competition.
