The standing committee of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee on Monday held a group study session on the theme of studying the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Zhang Yizhen, Chairwoman of the CPPCC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, Deng Xiuming, Deputy Secretary and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee attended the meeting.
Wu Zhenglong called for efforts to enhance political stance, gain insight into the decisive significance that the Party has established Comrade Xi Jinping's core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and defined the guiding role of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era from the political height of strengthening the four consciousnesses and the four self-confidences, safeguarding the authority of the CPC Central Committee and getting united around the centralized and unified leadership the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core.
Wu said since the closing of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee has firmly implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions and the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee, and has made it a primary political task to study, publicize and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China at present and in the future.
Wu Zhenglong remarked that the standing committee members of the provincial party committee, vice governors and relevant provincial departments have participated in the campaign to study and understand the spirit of the Twentieth National Congress of the Communist Party of China by closely focusing on the strategic deployment made by the Twentieth National Congress of the Communist Party of China and visiting the grassroots and front-line communities so as to have planned and implemented the ideas, measures, key tasks and key points of contact of the Twentieth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and formed 34 high-quality research results.
The members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee unanimously believed that the group study session is an in-depth exchange of learning and implementing the spirit of the Twentieth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, as well as an ideological collision of comprehensively promoting the new practice of the Chinese path to modernization in Jiangsu.
They said that to further understand the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in a complete, accurate and comprehensive way through learning and exchanges, we must incorporate the findings of this special research into the documents of the plenary session of the provincial party committee, into our daily work, and implement them into the decision-making and deployment of thoroughly implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and promoting the new practice of modernization in Jiangsu with Chinese path to modernization.
The CPC provincial chief said we must resolutely implement the important instructions of the General Secretary and the decisions and arrangements of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, closely follow the General Secretary to forge ahead in a new journey and make contributions to a new era, fully, accurately and comprehensively implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and strive to turn the grand blueprint outlined in the CPC National Congress into a better reality.
