East China’s Jiangsu province has started a global talent hunt by releasing on Monday vacancies for more than 13000 overseas talents and postdoctoral in particular.
156 overseas doctoral degree holders in the fields of biomedicine, intelligent manufacturing and new materials were invited to take part in the "Hundred Overseas Doctors' Trip to Jiangsu".
Jiangsu released the first batch of more than 13000 vacancies for overseas talents, especially post doctors, in 2022-2023.
305 key enterprises and government-affiliated institutions will recruit 8199 overseas talents.
1130 post-doc stations and 720 government-affiliated institutions will recruit 5235 post-docs.
The "Hundred Overseas Doctors' Trip to Jiangsu" has been held for 16 years in a row, attracting 1709 overseas doctoral degree holders to carry out inspections in Jiangsu. 300 of them have settled in Jiangsu.
15 overseas talents were selected into the National Major Talent Project, 46 overseas talents were selected into the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Plan of Jiangsu Province, 37 overseas talents became the academic leaders of scientific research institutions in Jiangsu universities. They have started 92 enterprises with a total investment of more than 2.4 billion yuan.
