East China's Jiangsu province held a special session in Changzhou on Saturday to publicize the principles of the 20th CPC National Congress to the expats living in Jiangsu.
More than 80 people's envoys of friendship from 18 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands and South Korea, as well as some expats in Jiangsu, attended the event.
Professor Cheng Changchun, a member of the Provincial Party Committee's Publicity Tour Delegation and former counsellor of the provincial government, gave a comprehensive and in-depth introduction and interpretation of the spirit of the 20th Party Congress. The People's Friendship Envoys of Jiangsu expressed their confidence in the future development of China, adding that they will spare no efforts to make greater contributions to the economic and social development of Jiangsu and create a better future together.
The provincial Friendship Association presented Volume IV of the English version of "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" to the people's envoys.
