Enterprises in Zhenze Town, Wujiang District of Suzhou are cashing in on the Qatar World Cup to produce Arab headscarves by completing a big order from the World Cup. The Qatar World Cup is in full swing, and the mascot "Raeb", designed in the shape of an Arab headscarf, has gone viral on the Internet.
The Qatar World Cup Organizing Committee has placed orders for more than 50000 Arab headscarves with enterprises in Wujiang by requiring these headscarves to be completed within 2 months. At present, all these scarves have been delivered to the address designated by the World Cup sponsor.
As early as the 1990s, enterprises in Zhenze Town of Wujiang District began to produce Arab headscarves. After more than 30 years of development, Arab headscarves have been exported to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar and gained popularity due to their good quality.
