The Green Sustainable Development Conference 2022 and the EU China High level Forum on Sustainable Development were held in Taicang on Wednesday and Thursday.
Leaders from more than ten countries and regions, global climate leaders and more than 200 delegates discussed the theme of "digitalization driving green and sustainable development".
The International Economic and Technological Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the International Cooperation Center of the China-Nordic Association for the Promotion of Green and Sustainable Development, and the Suzhou Municipal Government signed a four-party agreement to explore a green sustainable development model that conforms to Chinese path to modernization that is shared by China and Europe, with the key of green digital collaborative transformation.
The China EU (Taicang) Green Digital Innovation Cooperation Zone will soon be built, and a number of China EU carbon neutral innovation cooperation demonstration projects will be implemented simultaneously.

A total of 28 projects have been signed,forming a new model of all-round cooperation.China and the EU will jointly promote all-inclusive sustainable green development.
Taicang has settled in more than 450 German funded enterprises. Last year, the Sino German (Taicang) Green Low Carbon Cooperation Park was settled in Taicang. The city is making every effort to promote the digital transformation of the industry, promote the deep integration of the industrial chain, supply chain, innovation chain and value chain, and accumulate energy for high-quality development.
