Suzhou's economic and trade teams returned to Suzhou from France and Germany on Monday afternoon.
Suzhou sent a total of 30 investment promotion teams to Europe to visit 325 enterprises and institutions and sign 37 projects. They also held 29 investment promotion exchanges and reached intention on the investment of 5.954 billion dollars.
Changshu High-tech Zone signed a 16-million-euro metal ceramic substrate project with Frankfurt-based Heraeus Group. The project is expected to have an annual output value of more than 300 million yuan, which will be of great significance for accelerating the development of Suzhou's new generation information technology industry.

At the same time, Taicang Hi-tech Zone has promoted the settlement of projects with a total investment of 13 billion yuan.
During the European investment promotion, foreign trade enterprises in Suzhou visited 362 customers and signed orders of 3 billion yuan with Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy and some other EU countries as the destination of export.
