East China’s Jiangsu province maintained a rapid growth in its software and information industry from January to November, providing strong support for the intelligent transformation and digital transformation of "Made in Jiangsu" while its digital economy has also given birth to new highlights in its integration with other fields.
Statistics from the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology show that from January to November, Jiangsu reported an operating income of 1.14 trillion yuan in the software and information technology service industry, up 7.5% year on year, 0.3 percentage points higher than the growth rate in the first three quarters.
Changshu Southeast Mutual Electronics Co., Ltd. has recently installed an automatic detection equipment with artificial intelligence modules to detect the quality of the integrated circuit board. The pictures taken are sent to the background data center before analysis and judgment can be completed in just a few seconds through the application of the domestic software connector based on the industrial Internet identification analysis system.
Gu Yawen, Deputy General Manager of Changshu Southeast Mutual Electronics Co., Ltd, said that since the introduction of this artificial intelligence, their overall efficiency has been greatly improved, which makes it easier to sort out some statistics of our products’ defects and helps us to improve the whole process continuously and accurately.
Southeast Mutual Electronics is a successful case of Jiangsu enterprises’ application of industrial Internet platform to upgrade integrated circuit manufacturing.
A total of 13 industrial Internet platform applications with advanced technology, innovative model and remarkable results were rated as typical cases by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for nationwide demonstration and promotion.
Demonstrating the key issues of "Made in Jiangsu" digital transformation, these cases have achieved outstanding results in digital management, intelligent manufacturing, networked collaboration, and personalized customization.
Including the industrial Internet, Jiangsu continues to enhance its national advantages in the industrial software industry chain and the information technology application and innovation industry chain with the industrial software industry chain accounting for more than 20% of the national total.
The integration of information technology and other fields has also constantly generated new highlights. In the Hudai Industrial Park, Binhu District, Wuxi City, a white box with an area of about 0.5 square meters is erected at the entrance of many enterprises. This online environmental monitoring and supervision system senses the water quality at the enterprise's discharge outlet in real time through the domestic Internet of Things terminals. Combined with the AI algorithm of the platform, it accurately grasps the current situation and rules of the enterprise's emissions, and promotes the enterprise's energy conservation, emission reduction and pollution source governance.
At present, Hu Dai Industrial Park has tried this technology in 80 enterprises, and the water quality of the monitoring section in the park has been upgraded from the original Class IV water body to the excellent Class III.
Huang Hongjuan, Chairwoman of Jiangsu Lanchuang Co., Ltd, said that focusing on the application of ecological environment monitoring, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and other new generation information technologies improve the level of data mining and application, and achieve the deep integration of ecological environment management and monitoring business. It is estimated that the performance in 2022 will increase by 30% compared with 2021.
In terms of industrial layout and innovation carrier construction, represented by Nanjing, Suzhou and Wuxi, Jiangsu has the largest number of "China's Famous Software Cities" in China with seven national industrial parks such as Nanjing Software Valley and Suzhou Software Park. Nanjing software and information service industry cluster has been selected into the first batch of national advanced manufacturing industry clusters. It is estimated that by the end of this year, the output value of Jiangsu's software and information technology service industry is expected to exceed 1.3 trillion yuan.
