A New Year Fair is being held at Pingjiang Road and will last till December 31.
Set in Pingjiang Historical Block, the fair strings together the history and culture of the area, and has introduced an Instagrammable spot named "Suzhou Dialect Hashtag" and various activities on the theme of local traditions to offer an immersive and Suzhou-style experience to visitors.
The colorful wall at Dongshengli and the neighboring art spaces form a complete art block; local intangible cultural heritages such as Kunqu Opera, pingtan, Suzhou embroidery and kesi integrate classical and modern features, with lecturers launching experiencing courses from time to time; a number of themed stores along Pingjiang Road create a comfortable literary space… Moreover, different shops will set up special roadside stalls.
