East China’s Jiangsu province has continued to increase the intelligent transformation and digital upgrading of enterprises with the integration index of industrialization and informatization ranking first in China for eight consecutive years. More and more intelligent factories and workshops have effectively improved the competitiveness of "Made in Jiangsu" products.

Jiangsu recently announced 86 smart factories and 300 smart workshops. At the same time, 9 enterprises were awarded the National Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration Factory, occupying the first place in China, and 364 enterprises passed the evaluation of national intelligent and digital transformation.

In the logistics center of Bosiden Group, a national intelligent factory in Changshu, when the staff saw the information about the customer's order on the screen, they could pick up a garment accurately in 3 minutes with a click of the mouse, automatically package it, paste the express bill, and transfer it to the transport vehicle.

Thanks to the construction of intelligent factory, Bosiden's sales and profits increased by more than 15% year on year.

Dai Jianguo, assistant to CEO of Jiangsu Bosideng Group, said that intelligent transformation improves automation and more urgent and accurate decision-making, improves efficiency and reduces costs, which helps to respond to market demands more quickly and capture consumer needs more accurately.

Since the beginning of this year, Jiangsu has launched the three-year action plan for intelligent transformation and digital transformation of industrial enterprises above designated size, increased the construction of information infrastructure, built 148.8 thousand 5G base stations, and provided infrastructure support for digital upgrading.

Provincial, municipal and county finance invested 6.64 billion yuan in 16 advanced manufacturing clusters and 30 key industrial chains.

By the end of November, more than 10 thousand manufacturing enterprises in the province had preliminarily completed the task of digital transformation.
