In a panel discussion with Nanjing’s deputies to the Provincial People’s Congress, Xin Changxing, Secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, asked the provincial capital city to play a key role in promoting the construction of a new development pattern and accelerating the construction of a modern industrial system.
Han Liming, Liu Jiaping, Wu Yongqiang, Ye Zhaoyan, Li Jiuhu, Zhang Aihua, Wei Tongtian, Hu Shemei, Shao Yang, all deputies to the provincial people's congress, put forward suggestions concerning deepening the innovative and leading scientific and technological breakthrough, building the Nanjing North Railway Station hub at a high level, improving cultural soft power, supporting the transformation and upgrading of small and medium-sized enterprises, promoting the expansion of high-quality pediatric medical resources, improving agricultural production equipment, and gathering more outstanding talents and improving the transformation and industrialization level of scientific and technological achievements.
Xin Changxing said that in the ten-year new era, Jiangsu has always kept in mind General Secretary Xi Jinping’s instructions to have overcome unprecedented risks and challenges, and completed far-reaching events. To this end, we should further gain insight into the decisive significance that the Party has established Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and defined the guiding role of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era, unswervingly move forward in the direction guided by the General Secretary, and comprehensively promote the new practice of Chinese path to modernization in Jiangsu on the new journey.
Noting that Nanjing is the provincial capital city, an important central city in the eastern region, and a megacity in the Yangtze River Delta region, Xin Changxing said Nanjing has an important position in Jiangsu's economic development map, the national regional coordinated development map, and the international competition and cooperation map.
He hoped that Nanjing would thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the decisions and deployment of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, conscientiously implement the work deployment of the Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government, and make greater achievements in the new journey of the Chinese path to modernization.
The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee asked Nanjing to enhance its political stance, expand its development pattern, fully and accurately implement the new development concept, promote the construction of the new development pattern, accelerate the construction of the modern industrial system, build an international comprehensive transportation hub city, and become an investment destination with global attraction and competitiveness.
Xinchangxing asked the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee and Government to make every effort to promote common prosperity, continue to guarantee and improve people's livelihood, solve the people's urgent expectations, promote the new great project of party building in the new era, unite and lead the people to meet the challenges with a spirit of struggle, and open up the future with hard work.
