East China’s Jiangsu province has released 42 measures to spur the continuous recovery of economic development, according to a press conference held by the provincial government Wednesday in Nanjing.
Jiangsu has issued 42 measures in 12 aspects, focusing on the difficulties of sluggish consumer market, weak investment confidence, declining foreign trade orders, and difficulty in stabilizing and expanding jobs.
Many measures are aimed at reducing the immediate burden on enterprises, such as exempting taxpayers in the accommodation and catering industries from the first half of the real estate tax, establishing a special fund loan of 10 billion yuan for the relief of small, medium-sized and micro enterprises to increase production and efficiency, and implementing the reduction of social security fees.

In terms of the implementation time, Jiangsu has put forward some policies and measures that are short and fast by focusing on the first half of the year or the current period.
In terms of promoting implementation, Jiangsu will strengthen the cooperation between the provinces, municipalities and counties by requiring relevant departments and local governments to promote the implementation of various policies and measures in a detailed manner in accordance with the way of free and immediate access, online application and direct access, so as to directly reach the grass-roots level and directly benefit market entities.
