East China’s Jiangsu province has stepped up the construction of major investment projects and ensured their smooth progress through every possible effort so as to fulfill goals for social and economic development. JSBC has the story.
The construction of Wujiang Computational Power Dispatch Center, the hub of the Yangtze River Delta of the National Integrated Computational Power Network, began on the first working day of the Chinese New Year.
The project will undertake the cross-regional scheduling of computing resources in the eastern and western regions of China and the regional scheduling in the Yangtze River Delta, promote network connectivity, promote data circulation and deepen data application.
When put into operation in 2024, the project will provide support for the development of industrial innovation clusters.
Li Jun, Director of Network Construction Department of China Telecom Suzhou Branch said, "When completed, the project will comprehensively improve the computing power level in the region, consolidate the digital base and focus on the time-sensitive industries, such as intelligent manufacturing, biomedicine, digital finance."
Xishan District of Wuxi broke ground the construction of 27 major projects, including the high-end aviation components project of Paixin Technology, the manufacturing base and R&D center project of Longda aviation grade superalloy.
On the first working day of the new year, Lishui District in Nanjing launched 36 major industrial projects with a total investment of 24.503 billion yuan. Nearly 90% of these projects involve new energy vehicles, intelligent manufacturing and other fields, making them highly compatible with local leading industries.
