By the end of 2022, 24.968 million motor vehicles had been registered in Jiangsu, an increase of 5.53% over the previous year.
Suzhou, Nanjing, Wuxi, Nantong and Xuzhou registered 2 million motor vehicles respectively. The province registered 991000 new energy vehicles, an increase of 96.3% over the same period last year, accounting for 4.3% of the total number of motor vehicles. At the same time, the province reported a rapid increase in the number of drivers, with nearly half of adults holding driver's licenses.
