East China's Jiangsu province ranked first in the country with 48.34 billion yuan in the visa export value of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement in 2022, the latest statistics show. Jiangsu has seized the opportunity to seize new international markets since RCEP came into force on January 1st last year.

The company exports to 19 countries and regions including Japan, South Korea, and ASEAN. The RCEP policy has significantly reduced tariffs and further enhanced market competitiveness.

Our company has enjoyed a tax reduction of about 3% for products exported to Japan alone which has brought us a profit of about 3.5 million yuan throughout the year.
In the past year, various forms of special publicity and training for RCEP have been carried out in Jiangsu in a bid to enable more foreign trade enterprises to fully enjoy the policy dividend brought by RCEP.
In 2022, Nanjing Customs and the Jiangsu Council for the Promotion of International Trade issued 147800 RCEP certificates of origin totaling 48.34 billion yuan of export value, ranking first in the country, and helping enterprises in the province enjoy nearly 400 million yuan of preferential tariff in the destination countries.
This year, Jiangsu will further improve the functions of the smart application public service platform, further facilitate enterprises to deepen industrial cooperation with RCEP member countries, and help enterprises better promote import and export business
The RCEP agreement, the world's largest free-trade deal to date, came into force on the first day of 2022. Since then, it has brought tangible dividends to economic and trade cooperation between China and ASEAN countries.
