The per capita disposable income of urban residents in Jiangsu reached 60178 yuan, up 4.2% year on year. The per capita disposable income of rural residents reached 28486 yuan, up 6.3% year on year. The income ratio of urban and rural residents decreased from 2.16:1 in the same period last year to 2.11:1, indicating narrowing gap of the relative income between urban and rural residents.
Statistics show that the per capita income continues to highlight the importance of wage income which reached 28124 yuan, accounting for 56% of the per capita disposable income and standing for a year-on-year increase of 5.2%.
