At the construction site of Wuxi Taihu New Town Sewage Treatment Plant Phase III Expansion Project, a major provincial project, more than 150 workers were carrying out support structure construction and earthwork excavation at 4.5 meters underground.
Since the construction began last October, the largest sunken sewage treatment plant in Wuxi has completed the excavation of the underground floor.

Our civil engineering scale corresponds to a daily sewage treatment capacity of 200 thousand tons, with an initial installed capacity of 100 thousand tons per day.The project is expected to be completed in the first half of 2025, which will effectively improve the urban domestic sewage treatment capacity and quality in Wuxi.
The main part of the project is located underground, covering an area of 85 mu, while the above-ground facilities account for 27 mu, and nearly 60 mu of above-ground space can be used in a compound way, realizing the maximum utilization of urban land space.
The project will completely seal the sewage treatment in the ground to lock up the odor and noise and make it environmentally friendly.
Decoration has got underway on the library of the Changzhou Campus of Hohai University.
As of February 5, 2200 workers have returned to their posts. It is expected that all workers will be on duty in mid-February when the project construction will be accelerated in full capacity.
The construction team is seizing the favorable weather factors and optimizing the cross-construction scheme to ensure the overall completion of the project by April 30.
